Adult Learning Program
The Adult Learning Program provides high school equivalency preparation classes, as well as three levels of conversational and career English classes for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Personal and career advising is also provided.

Assessment and Testing Center
The Assessment and Testing Center is located on the lower level of the Jonathan Edwards Library in Room E11. The Center provides Accuplacer testing and accommodated testing services and serves as a Berkshire County test administration site for HiSet, CLEP, GED and DANTES testing programs. Proctoring for other BCC exams is also offered.

Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) provides faculty and staff professional development programs on pedagogy, technology, and other higher education topics. CTL activities include in-service workshops, professional development days, new faculty orientation, summer institutes, travel grants, special projects and guest speakers. The Center provides advanced workstations and technical training facilities to the BCC community to support the use of new teaching tools.

College Store
The College Store offer a number of services to students, faculty and staff. In addition to required textbooks, the store sells a wide variety student supplies, college apparel, reference books, health products, postage stamps and more. The college store primarily serves as an outlet for textbooks and materials needed for BCC day and evening classes, as well as for extension courses offered by other area colleges.

Computer Laboratories
Several computer laboratories are available to students in computer courses or courses requiring the use of computers. Lab assistants are available to help students. There is no fee for this service.

Development Office
The office of Development administers fundraising activities, such as an annual campaign, in support of the College's mission. The office also directs the publication of the BCC News, a periodic alumni newsletter.

Field Administration Center
In addition to most of the College's executive and other administrative offices, the Field Administration Center houses the Academic Advising Center, Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office, IT Help Desk, Registrar's Office, Student Accounts Office, Career Center, Transfer Center, and the TRiO Office and Learning Center.

The Financial Aid Office provides counseling services regarding educational expenses and assistance in obtaining aid from various funding sources.

Fitness Center
The Paterson Fitness Center is a fully-equipped exercise and strength training facility. The center is open to BCC students, faculty and staff at no cost. The general public is charged a minimal fee. Paid exercise prescription programs are held several times a year.

Foundation
The BCC Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to encourage and receive gifts in support of the mission of the College. The Foundation provides scholarships, grants and awards to deserving students; supports "value-added" activities such as conferences and hands-on experiences; and supports emerging technologies and campus restoration.

Immunization and Allied Health Medical Records
This office maintains the official BCC Immunization Requirement Form that students must complete and turn in before the first day of classes. Students may drop off medical records, authorize sending records to another location, or obtain a copy for their own use.

IT Help Desk
The IT Help Desk provides first-level technical support to all faculty, staff and students of BCC. We are committed to assisting the computer and telecommunication needs of all employees and students by providing detailed resolutions and general system information for common problems.

Koussevitzky
BCC's Koussevitzky Arts Center, which is open to the public, offers exhibits by professional artists from the United States and abroad. Several shows are mounted each semester. In addition, student art work is exhibited in the Koussevitzky lobby throughout the year.

Language Laboratory
The Language Laboratory is an important resource for the BCC community. You can access the Internet, take advantage of computer assisted instruction, watch videos, films, and television, read magazines and books, sharpen listening and speaking skills, and consult with instructors and peers in your language(s) of choice. The Language Lab is also a study lounge. You don't have to be a language student to take advantage of this quiet, comfortable, welcoming space.

McCann (North County classes)
To better serve students who live or work in northern Berkshire County or southern Vermont, BCC offers classes during the spring and fall semesters at the Charles H. McCann Vocational Technical High School in North Adams. Accuplacer assessment and registration for North County classes may be completed on BCC's Main Campus or during specially scheduled sessions in North County.

Melville Hall, one of BCC's two main academic buildings, has been newly renovated as part of a a $32 million upgrade to the Main Campus.

Nature Trail
The John Lambert Nature Trail, located behind the Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center, the nature trail wanders through open fields and woodlands. Numbered posts along the way indicate points of natural significance.

The One Stop Enrollment Center aims to streamline BCC's admissions and enrollment process. One of the most important parts of the One Stop project is the Welcome Center, the gateway into newly consolidated offices of admissions, advising, new student registration, financial services and student records.

Paterson Field House
The Paterson Field House maintains a basketball court for indoor activities, as well as several soccer fields, 5K cross-country course, a fitness center, summer pool and tennis courts. Lockers are available but student must provide their own locks. All facilities are open to the public when their use does not interfere with College activities.

Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center
The Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center is the focal point for environmental programs and activities. Built in 1976 and renovated in 2012, the Center houses a lecture room, laboratories, seminar areas, student lounge, and several work areas.

Renewable Energy Training Center
Ralph Hoffman Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Ctr.
Constructed as part of Center renovations in 2012, the Renewable Energy Training Center
is a classroom and laboratory space designed specifically for credit and non-credit
classes and workshops on renewable energies such as solar, wind and geothermal.

Registrar's Office
The primary responsibility of the Registrar's Office is to maintain official academic records for each past and present BCC student, transcript requests, registration, drop/add courses and graduation applications. Information about FORUM and Core Competencies Portfolio is also available.

Robert M. Boland Theatre
The Robert Boland Theatre is one of the largest stage houses in western Massachusetts. This comfortable house, with a seating capacity of 503, boasts outstanding acoustics and perfect viewing from every seat. The playing area is adaptable for proscenium, thrust or arena staging, and the stage is fully rigged with a 64-foot grid, a 39-line counterweight system, and a computer light board.
The Theatre Arts concentration of BCC's Fine and Performing Arts program produces three main-stage productions each year; theatre majors and other students participate. In addition to BCC and community theatre productions, the facility hosts numerous concerts, dance performances, and other special events each year.

Student Engagement Office
The office of Student Life is the center of student activity at BCC. The office helps to plan and administer a wealth of opportunities for social, cultural, recreational, as well as personal enjoyment and enrichment. Students are invited to bring ideas for new programs and activities to Student Life staff.

Student Lounge
The Student Lounge provides an atmosphere that encourages full enjoyment of the social aspects of college life, and is the central meeting place for students and their friends. Activities range from movies to lectures to live entertainment. Students also use the lounge to study and relax.

The Susan B. Anthony Center houses the following offices and services: College Store, Cafeteria/Food Services, Immunization Records and Allied Health Medical Records Office, Student Engagement Office, Student Support, Student Lounge, and the Food Pantry.

Swimming Pool
Certified lifeguard always on duty. The pool depth goes from 3.5 to 8 feet deep and is roughly 70 feet long. The facility is handicapped accessible and lifeguards are on duty at all times. Male and female locker rooms, equipped with showers.

The Paul E. Raverta Tennis Complex consists of three standard adult courts and two, "10 and under" tennis courts. The newly constructed courts are open to students, staff and the general public.

Testing Center
Visit BCC's Assessment and Testing Center
The Transfer Office provides information and assistance for students planning to transfer to another college or university. The office also maintains specific transfer arrangements through the Massachusetts Transfer Compact and through articulation agreements with numerous colleges and universities.

TRIO Office and Learning Center
The TRIO Office provides "one-on-one" support services to help eligible students develop an educational plan. Students who are accepted into the program work with the TRiO counselors and advisors to facilitate their graduation from BCC.

Tutorial Center
Tutorial Services provides free tutoring for currently enrolled students for most BCC credit classes. Tutors meet with students one-to-one, in small groups, and in drop-in help sessions. Most Tutors are BCC students, or Peer Tutors, who are recommended by faculty of an individual course or field of study. Many are also Community Tutors with expertise in a variety of areas. Students may request a tutor at the Tutorial Center on the BCC Main Campus. Drop-in Help Centers are also available for Math. Drop-in schedules are found in the Center.

Veterans' Center
BCC is committed to assisting our military families. The BCC Veteran's Center assists veterans with accessing their educational benefits, apply to BCC, explore eligibility for tuition waivers and reimburse and scholarships as well as transfer credit for military experience and learning out our BCC Student Veteran Alliance Club whose primary goal is to generate a campus-wide culture that embraces the leadership, discipline, and high standards veterans bring to our campus. Also, to further educate faculty and staff about the issues that veterans deal with coming to school.

The Writing Center is free to all BCC students, and is staffed by peer and community tutors ready to help you with papers and any other writing. The Writing Center offers appointments and drop-in hours.
